The present way of buying and selling houses has some issues. Even if a house is empty and you have the cash it can take months for the paperwork before you can move. Also the seller can change their mind and withdraw after the buyer has spent money on fees or the buyer can pull out leaving the seller with nothing to show for it.
With the Equijudge home option system some of these problems can be reduced. The buyer puts down a large deposit, 10 or 15% and then can move in straight away with an option to buy at a given price by a given date. The seller is committed to that, and if they buyer pulls out they pay rent for the days stayed to at least the seller gets some compensation.
The exact deal can be customised to the buyers and sellers particular situation, for example how long it would take to get the money together, if time is needed to get a survey, whether the seller is in a hurry or doesn't mind renting a bit.
